yahoo.com Erika Christensen played a mom for six years on Parenthood, and now she’s become a real life parent! Christensen and husband Cole Maness just welcomed their first child, and they gave her the sweetest, most perfect name — Shane.
Shane arrived on June 21 and weighed 6 lbs., 3 oz., People confirmed. The birth took place at their home in California, and Christensen basically live-tweeted the entire event (but obviously not the finale).
I'm in labor. Right now.

Some of her celebrity friends tweeted their excitement and well-wishes for the new momma:
@ERIKAjaneC good luck buddy!!!!! You'll be great!

@ERIKAjaneC YES YES YES

And then Dax Shepard, AKA Crosby Braverman, offered his TV sister a ride to the hospital:
@ERIKAjaneC lastly, can I drive you to the hospital? I want to see you at your very chubbiest point.
— dax shepard (@daxshepard1) June 21, 2016
To which Christensen replied:
@daxshepard1 I am fully in labor right now. Wanna come over?

Christensen posted lots of baby bump pics to Instagram, and they’re all so sweet (and bumpy):
But this one takes the cake (because we’re clearly still obsessed with Parenthood):
We love that more and more celebs are giving their children androgynous, gender-neutral names. This includes Blake Lively and Ryan Reynold’s daughter James, Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson’s daughter Maxwell, and Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher’s daughter, Wyatt.
No word on Shane’s middle name, but we’re going to just assume it’s Braverman. Shane Braverman Maness.
